This is the 8th post in a series of blog posts as part of The Suitcase Entrepreneur’s 30 Day Blog Challenge.
As a matter of fact, I started the blog challenge one day late (due to time difference), and we’re already on Day 9 because it was a free day yesterday, though I have written for 8 consecutive days so far (around 26,000 words in total!)
If you’re interested you can find my Day 7 post here: 16 Incredible Tools to Boost Productivity and Maintain Your Mindset
Day 9′s Challenge: Whose online business do you admire most and why?
I couldn’t just pick one person’s online business I admire the most, so I decided to make a very comprehensive list of 35 Lifestyle Entrepreneurs I admire and that you need to know about as well.
These incredible entrepreneurs have been like virtual mentors to me on my entrepreneurial journey so far, and they will continue to inspire, motivate and influence the work I do in a very profound way.
Many people started to ask me who I learn from and get inspired by, so I figured the best way to actually do it was to make the most comprehensive list of all time with today’s top lifestyle entrepreneurs out there.
I’m going to kick this off with one of my all time favorite quotes:
You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with. – Jim Rohn Click to tweet!
The 35 incredible lifestyle entrepreneurs are listed below in no particular order. I may do a part 2 as well, because unfortunately I had to leave out quite a few entrepreneurs I wanted to include on this list! Well, until next time…hope you’ll enjoy this post!
35 Lifestyle Entrepreneurs You Need to Know
Tim Ferriss needs no introduction! He’s a living legend, and someone I truly admire and he has inspired me so much. He calls himself a human guinea pig and author. Tim is a 3 time best-selling author of The 4-Hour Workweek, 4-Hour Body, and his latest addition The 4-Hour Chef. I’ve read all of them and they are awesome, and I try to use strategies I learn and implement in my own business and life.
Ever since I read The 4-Hour Workweek, I knew that there was more to life than a regular 9-to-5 job, but rather live a life on my own terms. This was the starting point for me on my entrepreneurial journey, and I couldn’t be more thankful for that!
If you have’t read any of his books, I would suggest that you start with The 4-Hour Workweek, it’s a must read for every entrepreneur out there!

Gary Vaynerchuk is truly remarkable! He started with Wine Library Tv in 2006 to share his knowledge and passion for wine, and in the spring of 2009, my brother AJ and I launched VaynerMedia, a new breed of agency that would help Fortune 500 companies. Gary V has done so much and it would be impossible to include everything and make it justice in such a short description.
Whenever I need some inspiration I just turn to Gary V and watch some of his inspirational videos on YouTube to hear him speak.
He has really helped me maintain the right mindset and focus on what’s important in life and that I really can make this work. And I don’t know anyone better than Gary V, when it comes to when it comes to personal branding, so of course he’s on the list!
Every lifestyle entrepreneur needs to know and follow Gary V. Period!

Corbett Barr from Think Traffic is just about providing massive value and most of his best stuff online is actually available for free on his blog. I really admire the community Corbett has built around Think Traffic, it’s very inspiring to see.
I actually consider Corbett one of my early virtual mentors when I did his blogging course Start a Blog that Matters. Even though it took me a while to take the right steps and action, I’m thankful for going through the course as it helped me a lot so far with my blog.
Other than that he is the co-founder of Fizzle, which is an awesome honest online business course and community. I’m member of Fizzle and it’s one of the best out there for sure. No doubt about it!
He also co-hosts the Fizzle Show with Caleb Wojcik and Chase Reeves which is really fun and entertaining, but at the same time filled with great information and actionable. The perfect balance in my opinion.

Neil Patel is someone every entrepreneur should follow. Neil is the co-founder of Crazy Egg and KISSmetrics. He is extremely well know for his epic guides and you can find him blogging regularly over at Quicksprout.
I actually interviewed Neil Patel a few weeks ago, he’s such a cool guy, and I really appreciate that he takes his time for things like doing interviews and answering comments on his blog in person, despite his very busy schedule. Respect!

Jun Loyaza is not only a successful lifestyle entrepreneur, but he recently joined a very exciting startup company called Voice Bunny (because he had the choice!). I haven’t seen many people at such a young age being able to start several successful lifestyle businesses and be involved in the startup scene in Silicon Valley. He has done it all which is very inspiring and admirable!
I also took his free course Profitable Reputation Academy a while ago and it was very valuable and I learned a lot about reputation management and personal branding online in the 23 day course.

Sean Ogle from Location 180 started out in a similar way I did by sharing his journey on a blog, and that’s why I can relate to him so much. He hated his life back in 2009 and decided to change that and work hard towards his goals in order to live a meaningful and more fulfilling life on his own terms. Very powerful, and Sean is now living his dream every single day doing what he loves the most! Lesson learned: Hard work and dedication pays off!

Amy Porterfield is such a babe! I love what she does with her brand and she definitely knows what she is talking about when it comes to Online Marketing, and specifically Facebook Marketing.
I mostly listen to her podcast Online Marketing Made Easy and I have learned a lot over the last few weeks about Facebook Marketing, and especially about FB ads. I’m looking to implement some more of her strategies soon and see how they work out for my business.

Andrew Warner is the host of the extremely successful and now famous show Mixergy. Andrew was also the first who started an interview style business webshow, and he has inspired me along my journey to start an interview based show as well.
It is really inspiring to see that Andrew took the concept of an interview based webshow with free content and packaged it into a product he could sell with recurring payments every month (and make money while he sleeps). I believe you can get full access to Mixergy Premium for about 25 d0llars/month, which is a great deal considering the amount of value Andrew provides with each interview and courses he offers.
He has currently done over 900 episodes with the most successful entrepreneurs out there (people like Tim Ferriss, Gary Vaynerchuk, and Seth Godin and many more).

Henri teaches you how to build a thriving lifestyle business around your passion, both from his blog and courses.
I love his approach to online business in general, and that his all about taking this very first step and taking the right action, rather than worrying about perfection early on which is a very common mistake aspiring entrepreneurs make when they are starting out.

So there you have it…the most comprehensive list post I’ve ever written, but I had a lot of fun doing it! There’s obviously many more incredible lifestyle entrepreneurs out there, and I will most likely do a part 2 version later on.
I hope you found a few new entrepreneurs you can follow and learn from, and if your favorite lifestyle entrepreneurs are not included on this list, please let me know in the comments section below, and I’ll include them in part 2!
I didn’t include big names like Richard Branson and Seth Godin, because I think most of you know who they are. If not, they are also worth knowing of course
If you want to move closer to living a location independent lifestyle and start a lifestyle business you can run from anywhere in the world, a first step would be if you join the Suitcase Entrepreneur Natalie Sisson’s 30 Day Blog challenge.
I can’t think of a better way to start something new or develop a strong habit than doing it for 30 consecutive days. I already accepted to take on the challenge, will you join me?
